Become a technician

Certified technicians on RemFixit get fault code details, a technical library for their trades and remote video calls with customers.

How the application works

  1. Create an account or sign in with your phone number.
  2. In the application form, choose the provinces you serve, your trades and brands.
  3. Upload your document for each trade; files go through a security scan.
  4. A moderator reviews each trade separately; the result and reason appear on your account page.
  5. With your approved trades you start using the technician panel.

Which documents are needed?

For hazardous appliance types (e.g. gas, electricity) an authorisation certificate for that type is required; for other types, a professional certificate. Accepted document types are listed in the application form. You must be over 18.
